If breakers keep tripping, the panel is full, or you’re adding an EV charger, heat pump or kitchen, the panel is usually where the job starts. We upgrade panels and services, typically to 200 amps, file the permit with your town and coordinate the inspection.
North Jersey knows long outages. A standby generator starts on its own when the grid drops and powers the whole home or the circuits you choose. We handle the electrical side and coordinate the licensed gas-line work, and we offer maintenance so it’s ready when it’s needed.
We install Level 2 home chargers, including Tesla wall connectors, on a dedicated 240-volt circuit sized for the charger. We check panel capacity first, so the charger and the rest of the house can run together. Garage, driveway, and multi-unit or condo setups.
A whole-home surge protector mounts at the panel and helps shield appliances, HVAC equipment and electronics from surges that come in from the utility or from lightning nearby. It works best paired with plug-in protectors for sensitive electronics.
A breaker that trips again and again is doing its job: something on that circuit is wrong. We find the cause, whether it’s an overloaded circuit, a failing breaker, a loose connection or a fault, and fix it properly.

Older wiring wasn’t built for the loads a modern home runs. We rewire homes to current code and modern capacity, planning the runs to keep openings in walls and ceilings to a minimum.
Many of the older homes in Montclair, Ridgewood, Glen Rock and the rest of North Jersey still have knob and tube somewhere in the walls. We replace it with modern grounded wiring, which often matters for insurance and for selling the home.
From service and rough-in to fixtures and final, we wire new homes, additions and full renovations, and work alongside your builder and designer on high-end custom buildouts.

We install ceiling fans on fan-rated boxes and supports, replace light fixtures with fans, and add wall controls so the fan and light work separately.
